All I can really say about the FF94 board is that if you've seen the current version with Richard Karn (or even Louie Anderson, for that matter), you've seen the FF94 board. The only difference between the 94 board and the current board is that when they only had 4 answers on there, the "panels" would be centered and glass blocks would be posted on either side, filling the gap that was there. Also, they used a live feed for the computer-generated filler because I remember one time during a show, (Bankroll round, I believe) Richard Dawson's hand actually appeared on the board itself. I was young at the time and barely have memories of it, but I knew immediately that it was a mistake. I didn't know that the panels were centered when top 4 answers were on the board! Guess like im going to have to update my palace images again . Btw was it the same when the top 3 answers were on the board? and what did the board looked like for double and triple point rounds? That is if you can recall?

CBS didn't have to promote Feud '94 as it wasn't a CBS network show. It aired in syndication only. But here's a shocker it was recorded at CBS Studios despite that it was the syndication. Remember that both the daytime and syndication version of Ray Combs feud were recorded at CBS studios. I think it was the same way when ABC had Dawson's Feud.

As many of you probably already know... FAMILY FEUD from '88-'95 (including Dawson) wasn't just taped in Television City, it was taped in studio 33! Some of the best CBS shows recorded in TV City came from studio 33... Carol Burnnet, TPIR, Smothers Brothers, just to name a few.

I don't recall any single rounds having only 3 answers. And the Double/Triple rounds, from what I remember, are the same as the current board (Anderson/Karn). The bottom answer on both sides would be covered with the right word on a red background. If there were only 3 answers in a double/triple round, both columns would be shown. IMHO, I think they should use Todd's FFC board for the current version. I never liked having a maximum of 8 answers on the board. There were some questions (albeit not many) that did use all 12 panels.

There were some questions (albeit not many) that did use all 12 panels. I don't like the current game board either. I image 8 answers is the max. to prevent long rounds and ultimately too much TV time from happening. It makes sense what they're doing and they may as well set up a 2x4 grid vs. the old 2x6 grid. It's better to use the visual space for displaying survey data than it is to use it for displaying blank panels that don't catch the eye anyway.
