Todd, Awesome work with Family Feud Challenge. I have noticed some things with the Family Feud Challenge that I thought would share. Hopefully they'll get fixed in newer releases. 1. When the board turns to the digital logo, you'll notice that the board has a gap at the beginning. It's not as tight as the board in the Family Feud Presentation software. 2. I also noticed that when the board turns to the digital logo at the beginning, the digital board, which is covered in yellow and says Family Feud in black, is from the Family Feud Presentation version (Dawson). It doesn't look like the one from the Ray Combs version. 3. Another thing is when a family wins, and there are answers to be revealed, the lights on the top part of the set don't light up in conjuction with the bottom lights. I also noticed this when a family wins when they sweep the board. 4. During fast money, when you are about to reveal the last question for the first contestant, use the Ctrl and Right Arrow key to slowly reveal the answer. You will notice that the word Total from the Family Feud Presentation Software will show up temporarily over the word Total from the Family Feud Challenge. 5. At the end, the lights are on when the board is doing its amination. I know that for some people that would look really slow, especially on a slow computer. I know that in the Family Feud Presentation software, the lights are turned off in the end to make the board animation better. 6. When a round is over, and there are answers to be revealed, you press the number key that corresponds to the answer to be revealed. For example, if the number 2 answer wasn't shown, you would press the 2 key to have it revealed. If you press the number 2 key again, the answer reverts to the yellow, and by pressing the number 2 key, the answer will be revealed again. The Family Feud Presentation software didn't have that problem. I hope this helps with the debugging. Again, great job. Keep up the good work. P.S. Sorry for not responding in a long time. Been busy with my MBA. Responses: 1. I know. It's hardly noticable. 2. I know. It's hardly noticable. 3. I know. It's a little visual I haven't perfected yet. 4. I know about that one as well. I just hadn't fixed it yet because I couldn't imagine anyone using the Flash Player's built-in movie controls to slow that part of the game down. 5. More people complain when I turn the lights off to make other animations look smoother. So I left them on. 6. Then just push the button once. There are a ton of things I want to go back and change or improve on including these things and the other issues put here, including the music cues, introduction sequence, etc. This is just 1.0. This will not be the last version. When I released this thing, I released it with the understanding that it's not a completed project but it is a fully playable game. I do appreciate the help in pointing out the issues. Keep them coming. I appreciate the compliments as well. Thanks to those who have posted these thoughts. Family Feud Challenge is going to get better. But for now, it's time to turn to another game show. Then I can come back and fix the things listed here.

Well Todd, 1.0a is better than 1.0,but there is one thing you should look at. Can you clean up the 4 digit display on top of all the survey boards? It kinda looks like multiple displays are sticking out.

Don't think this has been asked yet: is there anyway to "hook up" bullseye game one with bullseye game two like on the show?

For some reason, I'm still getting an "invaild" error message from the zip file when I try and unzip it.

Het Todd, all I have to say is AWSOME WORK! I know this stuff is not easy, and of course things don;t always turn out the way they want them to right at the start, but hey it's going ot be awsome. Just one question for ya, I noticed you said this:
"Family Feud Challenge is going to get better. But for now, it's time to turn to another game show. Then I can come back and fix the things listed here."
What Game show might that be? Does that mean we should see screen shots soon too? Thanks keep up the good work!

Not a bug, just a point of interest:
Once again, I comment about the bottom ring of lights. It would light up only when every light was lit. I remember it also being used in the win sequence, but I'm not 100% positive.
Aside from that, it looks (and sounds) completely like the show. Congratulations on a job very well done! You deserve it.

Great Job Unbelievable. You even have the littlest detail such as the black curtain behind the board moved a little showing the yellow backround just like on the show. But I do notice 3 things wrong. During the intro the display on the family poduim shows just the arrows but during the opening of the show they switch from FAMILY to FEUD. Also when you show the second family the family poduim is facing the wrong way. The head of the family side should be to the left of the computer screen. And finally I feel ( but i could be wrong) the the music going from Bullseye to the first question runs just a little too long. should be shorter. All my points are minor ones becuase the program is great. I cant wait for your other programs. Thanks for all your hard work.

I'll work on fixing that; it's an easy fix. You're correct about the Bullseye intro music. It is too long. The familiy podiums switching like that is something difficult to add for the reason that the graphic would have to be skewed when the zoom-out view is displayed. To Robbie: Both Bullseye games feed off the same text file. I'd just suggest creating two separate folders with the text files and the executable program in each one. tsskiller: The display is made to look like they're not light bulbs this time. I don't know what you call the display they use (someone help me out here). Basically, each little circle on the display is cut in half and hindged. Depending on the way those things are flipped, they appear yellow or black. Anyway, I tried to draw the displays as close to that as I could. deano14: I'm doing $100,000 Pyramid next

Something else that caught my eye and came up again today as I was running through it: the Fast Money timers are way too fast.
I held up my watch right next to the timer and the 15-second timer ran for about 12 seconds. I also noticed the 20-second timer running a little bit fast.
That could very well pose a problem to those of us who stutter a little.
Also, didn't the time limits get increased to the current 20/25 second limits towards the end of FFC?

I believe the 20/25 second rule came when Richard Dawson came back to Family Feud because he read the question slower.

I might have changed the movie's framerate, which would have thrown the timer off. I'll look into it. It seems to work fine on my PC, which has an AMD XP 2200+ processor.

The timer seems to be running a little fast for me as well, but is only off maybe 1 second for the 15 second timer and 1.5 for the 20 second clock.
