How do we become a Release Candidate? Do we need to email you or will there be something we can download off the site. Thanks Cant wait to see it :-)

A person isn't a release candidate. What the term "release candidate" means is I'll offer a version of the software that I think may be a good candidate to become version 1.0. I may release only one candidate or may release many depending on corrections of bugs and features needed. It'll be a public download.

This forum as been quite lately. Just wondering if theres been any progress on Pyramid yet. Cant wait to see it. :-)

Hang in there. A release is coming. If I just can't seem to get a not-quite-tweaked-out release ready, I'll make the FLA available for someone else to complete. I wouldn't go this far without attempting to finish it.

so I'm a little confused, do u want to finish it or ar eu not enjoying this project anymore? or is it giving u havoc? and if so what is giving u the most trouble? Well let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

It's not that I'm tired of working on the project necessarily. Am I as excited about it as Family Feud? No. But I still want to get this one finished. What I meant about releasing the FLA file was if it seems like I'll never get around to finishing what I started, I'll give it to another Flash author to complete.

oh ok, so do u think we will see a release from you beofre or if u pass it over to someone? wow! u must be really busy not to have time for this then eh? and u mentioned something about starting up family feud again, have u already started it or no time for that right now either? ok well keep up the good work, your e-mail must still not be working cause I have tried e-mailing u with no respose  |

Either one of these two things will happen:
1. I will release the software.
2. Someone else will finish what I've started and release it themselves.
I don't have a guaranteed timeline as to when either one of the two of these outcomes will be. Keep checking the web site for more any and all updates as well as my message forum here.
About Family Feud's rewrite, I haven't worked on it seriously yet. I tinkered around with creating some new graphics but haven't been satisfied with the realism. The rewrite will have fully redrawn graphics and may have new sound samples. While I'm working on Feud after a good Pyramid release is out, I'll also work with Match Game. Again, all updates will be posted here and on the web site.

thanks for all the info Todd, just one last thing. is there someone u have lined up if u decide to let someoen else finish Pyramid? I sure hope u do it I think it will look awsome |

No, I don't have any other programmers "lined up." In fact, I know very few programmers who work with Flash.
