Right. And in my opinion, you're a flipping idiot. Todd, it's all good, right now I'm just hoping to see a playable version of the game soon. Bells and whistles can wait. lol ok lemon, your entitled to your opinion as am I, but I don;t think you actually watched this show with all the changes u think would make the game better. I mean Todd is trying to make the game as perfect as the show and your trying to ruin it! no, I think if anyone is an idiot it's U! but again thats just my opinion. ;D by the way u really like to start flame wars don;t u? did u not hear what Todd said in his previous post about this? hmm dumb..dumb..dumb!

umm Chris I noticed u have not been on these boards that long, and neither have I, but what I do notice is there are others that have and yeah they may not suck up or kiss butt like u, but they still contribute to this board just as much, so what I'm saying is what makes u so much more special and feel u can just say or do whatever u want? do you like to start flame wars on here? I think Dean's got some good points as do u, and I think you are being the idiot now with your dumbass comments back. Geesh!

umm thanks pyramidfan21, as I appricate your comments I don't think it's necessary for anyone else to comment as this only fuels the fire and that was not my intention as you can see where and how this all started in the first place, but some people just don't get it! anyway again sorry Todd about this, but I think your game with what you have now looks good and is pretty close to the show, yes it does need a few teaks here and there but not to the extreme that would change the game from it's original format. anyway keep up the good work look forward to seeing the next release.

Dear God. This discussion has officially gone to hell in a handbag.
I agree with Chris. Dean, I don't think Chris called you an idiot because your ideas disagree with his. I think Chris called you an idiot because you don't even know how to type proper English. You use semicolons ( ; ) in place of apostrophes ( ' ) and your post consisted of two run-on sentences. Furthermore, when somebody shows that they are on your side, you dismiss them.
I will agree with you both that maybe Chris is a little over-assertive with his points, but the fact is that Chris actually contributes a LOT to discussion here. You're just too busy crying in the corner because you think you've been attacked to notice. If you just take what Chris says into account, you'd realize that he was right all along.
Furthermore, Dean, as of lately, you haven't been any better about flaming than Chris has. If you flame back, you're just as guilty as he is.
Let's all just calm the hell down right now and get back to $100,000 Pyramid discussion. Thank you.
*gets off soapbox*

sorry whoserman ;D again your right this has become a soapbox and I agree totally, but i disagree with some of your comments, yes some of my sentencing I kinda messed up on, but this isn't a grammer class, no one is perfect, and yes he may contribute to the boards as well, but that still doesn;t give someonethe right to make smartass comments. and how do u know what he was saying? are you speaking on his behalf now? maybe it's computer lingo and I am taking it the wrong way but thats not the way I see it! anyway your right I'm not any better with the flame wars but like I said I never intended it to become this, maybe instead of calling someone a idiot or take a friggin hint they should just explain it, cause all that means to me is that the person is starting a flame war. anyway back to the game

Whoserman you say Chris contributes lots to the boards, hmm interesting the only posts I have ever seen are on pyramid and nothing else! I also noticed with the post above of when the four of us have all registered it looks like Dean registered before any of us, don't you think he has contributed just as much if not more to the boards? umm and your no better when it comes to flaming, I think I have seen you in bigjons website starting flame wars as well, so I wouldn't even go there with that one! And if I recall didn't Todd already address this issue in reguards to attacking each other? well if I look at the comments left by Chris then he obviously didn't get the point of what Todd was saying.

I lost my old password, so I had to reregister. Look again. True, most of his posts have been about Pyramid, but that seems to have been the topic at hand lately. Would you agree? I never questioned HIS contributions. I questioned his questioning CHRIS's contributions. There's no doubt that Dean has contributed heavily. You think wrong. I used to have heated spats with Robbie, but that was a long time ago. For the past several months, I have tried to be the voice of reason at that board. Please do not accuse people of stuff that has been over with for months. Read my post again. I agree with you guys that he needs to chill out. But the fact still stands that his points are valid, even if they are followed by "flippin' idiot."

sorry whoserman ;D again your right this has become a soapbox and I agree totally, but i disagree with some of your comments, And that is your right. Granted, but if it's to the point where people have to struggle to understand you, then something is wrong. It would seriously be in your best interest to improve it at least a little. Again, as I said, I agree with you that he needs to chill out. Not computer lingo. I'm just trying to stick up for someone who's getting a raw deal here. Chris will probably email me soon telling me to knock it off, but I've known Chris on Invision long enough to know that he probably knows what he's talking about. I'll say it one more time. You are right to not like Chris's over-assertiveness. But Chris's points are valid, and you are saying he's wrong just because he is attacking you. Furthermore, if you're trying to put an end to flame wars, getting involved in one is not the right way to go about it. Best idea I've heard all day.

I said Deano was a flipping idiot because, quite simply, I believe him to be a flipping idiot. I'm sorry Deano doesn't like that, but he has yet to prove me wrong, and I doubt he will.
As for the charges of "sucking up", I was asked PERSONALLY by Todd to help test this software LONG ago. If you think my responses constitute "sucking up", it is only because, from my point of view, the discussion here seems to fall into two categories: 1) (5%) Intelligent discussion, bug reports, and actual useful suggestions, and
2) (95%) Jackbags who are more interested in aesthetic effects, making sure the lights go precisely the right way, making sure the d**n BACKGROUND IS THE RIGHT COLOR?, and other asinine things that aren't even close to being the issue yet.
And I've noticed that people who don't like my posting style tend to fall into the latter group, so I don't worry about it.
FIRST you make sure you have a playable game, THEN you worry about it looking good. It's the same idiotic state of mind that posts a proposal to the other group with six paragraphs of set design and two sentences of gameplay. So what you call "sucking up", I call letting Todd know that there are people interested in going about the process the right way, and trying to help him keep focussed on what he should be focussing on. I don't want to see this project abandoned because the feedback he's getting is all abjectly STUPID. It doesn't matter whether the backdrop is Pacific Friggin' Teal if the tiebreakers are still broken.
Whoserman, thank you for breathing some common sense into this discussion.

well not much to say to that but I guess he still doesn;t get what Todd said in the previous post about this kinda stuff. still dumb as ever lemonhead!

well lets go back to how this original post started shall we and see where you fit into these 2 groups:
: So I'm looking at how the WC ends now, and I think there's a better way. Right now, if there's a win, it pulls out to the wide shot of the set , presumably to show off the flashing lights and what-not. I'm not sure if you need to - I think the dings and the music and the flashing money do the trick there, especially since you're gonna show off that screen as you "come out of break" between games anyhow.
ok, so after reading this post what category u fit in is quite obvious #2 (95%) jackbags and whatever other comments u posted.you just don;t get it do you, your the idiot that started this whole discussion and now your totally contradicting what you said in the first place. wake up and smell the crap your shoveling. what! you think your the only one that really contributes to these boards? your not! you may think your so intelligant with your talk but thats all you are is just talk. GROW UP! and don;t attack others just cause they have something to say, i mean you really haven;t contributed to anything else but this pyramid project and making wars, thats about it.

Read my post again. I agree with you guys that he needs to chill out. But the fact still stands that his points are valid, even if they are followed by "flippin' idiot." hey Whoserman u still think his comments are valid after this last post? WOW! I think Chris is the one that needs to chill out, better yet find another discussion board to go to, I'm sure there are enough of use on here who have been around long enough and have seen this show that can help out just as much if not better and have the common curtsey to respect what others say as well. and sorry to say Whoserman if anyone is getting the raw end of the deal here now after reading this last post of Chris's it's Dean, wow I can;t believe you stick up for him after what he wrote. and whoserman doesn;t matter if you had flame wars in the past, the point I was trying to make is you still had them and fromt he looks of it on here still try to, to some degree with better tactics of course . Hey Chris why don't you take some of your friends advice and get some commen sense yourself! geesh! if anyone is the idiot on here it's most definitly U!

I don't want to see this project abandoned because the feedback he's getting is all abjectly STUPID WOW! I mean WOW! don't you think thats what Todd wants Chris? FEEDBACK! weather you think it's stupid or not, what may be stupid to you gives you no right to make idiot comments back, or maybe thats just the way you are, and I think I said this before, what the heck do you think this discussion board is for!!! Todd wants to hear all these comments. What! you think your the only one whoever watched this show?? WOW! Todd wants to know what can make the game better I mean his whole idea of making the games is so they are as perfect as the show, oh wait you wouldn;t know that though cause I have not seen a single discussion from you in feud whatsoever!! I don;t think Todd would ever abandoned a game cause of what people say on here, get real, he wants the feedback weather you think it's dumb or not.

Alright, alright. Let's all stop with the personal attacks. It's getting us nowhere.
Everyone here contributes in their own unique way and I appreciate everyone who offers their constructive criticism. I've said it before that without your comments, Pyramid wouldn't work properly. So whether you have a rule change you see needs to be made or if something isn't animated properly, I do want to know about it. As I mentioned before, I'll fix the rules or the flow of the game to make it playable first and then go back and make it pretty. But all of the input is valuable.
For those who don't know, I need to give you a little bit of history. Back in August '03, I first brought my web site into existance. One of the first people I met who took an interest in my software was John Ricci. John introduced me to Chris shortly after we met. Chris is a Flash programmer as well and he's really good at it. He's offered a lot of advice and you have him to thank for showing me some of what Flash can do.
Chris is assertive, yes. And though I don't sanction some of his comments, all of you who have responded to him with insults (some of them very childish) are behaving no better. If you have a concern about someone, let me know. I have the authority to act. Taking matters into your own hands by responding with flames will not solve the problem. In fact, it just makes it worse.
Take a tube of toothpaste and see how quickly you can squeeze it all out. You can do that very quickly, right? Now try to put the toothpase back into the tube. It's almost impossible, isn't it? That's the way it is when you speak. It doesn't take a long time to give someone a peice of your mind but it can take a very long time, if not forever, to get those words back. This is one of life's lessons we all need to heed.
There will be some new rules in place posted in the General Forum. I'll attach it as a sticky note. We're not going to have anyone else banned like feudfan.
