Here's a sneak-peek at a graphic I'm working on for the Feud rewrite. Notice the "Whitman Sampler" graphics. They're MUCH more detailed than the first board I created. There are also wires and things visible between the cracks of the panels.

Allow me to say this... HOLY CRAP! I have never imagined the re-write of this thing being so incredibly detailed. You're going well beyond an extra mile for this thing.

WOW! That is incredibly detailed . You're like Kazunori Yamauchi when it comes to detail. Excellent work, I am impressed.

Something that makes a real big difference is the toned down colors. They're much more mild than the current software version. When the Feud rewrite happens, it'll be a great day!

Lookin' good, Todd.
Just curious, are you planning to implement any of that stuff we discussed a long time ago, regarding the timing between flipping an answer and adding it to a virtual Bank, such that you can be quick about awarding a Bank on a steal without costing that team the points?
(If you don't remember the discussion, email me off-list and I'll remind ya.)

Yes, Chris. I remember that e-mail. The timing of the score updating will not change but I plan on changing the sequence of awarding points instead. When you press the left or right key to award the points from the bank to the winning family, the camera angle won't change until after the score is updated. It sounds weird, I know. But I think the end effect will look better and solve the problem of the delay we have to have to count all the points now.

Many months ago, there was a topic that talked about being about to use keys to veiw the family names on the back drop. It would be GREAT if you include this is the re-write.

Of what possible use could that be?

I thought that this would be a good idea because I have hosted/ran the projector for a number of presentations so far. Sometimes we do four to six games in one day... and some time I forget which team is on which side when I'm running the game board. Just so people in the crowd can also see the team names... maybe this is just a benifit to me.

Of what possible use could that be? I do understand what SONICMAN wants, but there is something he needs to consider. When camera #3 zooms back so the entire set and surnames are in the shot, you also end up shooting the audience. How is Todd going to simulate an appluading audience?

Why would I need an animated crowd clapping when I would be showing a LIVE crowd?
