I know this might sound dumb, but I am wondering, when a contestant on Feud gives a wrong answer, and a strike is shown on the screen, do the contestant's see the strike also, or do they only hear the buzzer sound?

On the original set, the contestants only heard the buzzer. The strike graphics were a visual effect only the TV viewers see. On today's set, it looks like the strikes are visible to the contestants and studio audience. The board, of course, is a projected computer image.
