In reading some of the messages on this board I see there are many people that have question about the operation of the BIG BOARD and in Family Feud in general. I too have wonder how it worked and always wanted to see the back side of the board. In 1988 my family and I auditioned for Family Feud and meet with the producer at the time. I recently came across the letters I received from the show and with a little research I belive I found the producers mailing address. I was thinking of sending him a letter asking him some question of the workings of the board. If anyone is interested please post all your questions about Family Feud that as not been answered and I will see about fowared them to him and hope that he will respond. If possiable please post all question by Monday Aug. 30. 2004. I am also going to see if he has any pictures that he might be willing to share. If all this goes well I hope to have all the unknown facts about the Feud answered. Thanks for you help in advance.

If you get a response, this will be awesome. I think the most obvious questions are:
1) How many people work the board and what do they all do?
2) How do the mechanical flip panels work and who is responsible for turning them?

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER ----------------------------- CHESTER FELDMAN PRODUCER ----------------------------- HOWARD FELSHER So, which one was the "producer" you met with? |

One thing I want to know is... What make and model were the TV cameras used in studio 33?
