As a gamer you have to be really excited at all the great games that are coming out the rest of this year. I was just wondering which games you are looking most forward to. If you say other I'd like to hear about what it is.

C'mon, no one's interested in the Nintendo DS? I tend to agree although I am intrested because I've been a Nintendo fan boy since Donkey Kong been in the arcades. I love the concept of having two screens to see however I don't think I'll be buying it only because I think the PSP is much better (Even though it's twice as much .) One of the problem Nintendo has they are so afraid of there games being counterfitted that they come up with these weird concepts. I think DS is a perfect example of that. If Nintendo keeps this up I foresee Nintendo being just a software company. Sort of like what happened to Sega 3 years ago with the dreamcast.

Let's see, one Gamecube game, and no PC games. Yeah, you're going to get a lot of "other", dude.
Doom 3 was a fun enough romp. Not too much replayability, got the atmosphere was great while it lasted.
Right now, though, I'm enjoying the heck out of "Evil Genius".

That PSP looks mighty nice.... and mighty expensive. . I'm an XBox man myself, so Halo 2. PS- If you wan't some good reviews, watch X-Play on G4TECHTV. I've met Adam Sessler & Morgan Webb (the hosts), they're awesome.

Where did you meet them at? In Atlanta for one of their Roadshow's promoting the Digital Digs Sweepstakes last summer. I'm a big fan of TECHTV so I go to all the ones that are in my area. I hope they come back soon!

I don't think Nintendo created the DS just to have games that were hard to pirate. If they were interested in anti-piracy, they would have region lockouts on their software. The extra touch-screen is an attempt by Nintendo to give gamers new experiences that can't be achieved on any other system at this time. Personally, if software developers can create games that are unique, replayable, and fun, I'd buy this baby over the Playstation Portable 100 times over.
See, I'm just a product of the early 80's. I don't get into games where you run around shooting things. Fun games, even as simple as the GameCube's Pac-Man VS. are the games that I look for and keep me hooked. I love Nintendo because their concept of gaming is so much like mine; flashy graphics doesn't make the game, the game concept and playability do.
But if you're into 3d run-and-shoot adventures, the PSP is the way to go. It's just too bad Sony isn't quite as concerned about cost. Personally, I believe if Sony lowered their system specs down to drive the cost down to a level closer to Nintendo's, I think they'd own the portable gaming market. Really, you're not going to notice a huge difference when you consider the screen size.
That's just my two cents. No one's right or wrong on this. The consumer will eventually settle the age old argument of who's better!

If "I don't care about video games" was up there, I would have voted for that.
