Okay, so the 3.1 version was a flop in many ways. What do you think about the corrections? Post that and other comments here.

Only 2 bugs that I can see...
- When one side hits 300 on the nose, the game continues on instead of indicating a winner.
- In Fast Money, during the second player's turn, you have to hit the TAB key 3 or 4 times to get the cursor in the first answer window so you could input the answer.
I just found about 3.2 after I downloaded 3.1, and in my opinion it didn't really matter to me that the animation was choppy when the lights and board ran together. It was just fine, IMO.

gameshowguy, an easy way to get the cursor into the first window in Fast Money is to click it with the mouse before the first question is asked.
At any rate, 3.2 is AWESOME (of course!)
Only 1 bug, which has been there since version 3.0. When the Fast Money Family Feud logo clears away in the intro (and in the end sequence), the fourth row stalls for a second right in the middle below the "M" in "FAMILY." It's probably just an animation oversight (like the same square was animated twice perhaps.)
Just thought you may want to know. Keep up the good work!

Todd,
Thank you very much for making the Mac version! Until now, I've was forced to run Virtual PC, which was really slow.
You forgot to mention, however, that the users need to download the PC version first, and then replace the .exe file with the .swf file, otherwise the survey board will be blank.
Now, all we have to wait for is the Combs version...

As always - PHENOMINAL! One quick note since I know you are striving for perfection If you award points while in "zoom-out" view (such as after a steal attempt strike) to the team on the right side of the screen, the lights, as usual, spread right and the points are awarded. However, if you award points to the team on the left, the points are awarded, but the lights do not carry the points from the bank to the family's total. Fantastic work - can't wait for Combs!!!

I wonder if it's still possible when the Fast Money round ends to change the board from the FM information to the 'Feud' sign, like they do before the final commercial... if not, it's okay.
As they say, 'nobody's perfect'...

I absolutely love this software, I have a blast showing it to my friends and I've used it for several big Feud games already.
2 small suggestions:
How difficult would it be to have a button that temporarily freezes the timer in Fast Money? It happens sometimes that the host stumbles or laughes for whatever reason, and we need to pause the timer for a few seconds. This happened quite a bit on the show too.
And regarding the choppiness of the program when the digital Feud board is animating and the lights are blinking, how about two versions, one without (for slower computers) and one with full features (for newer computers)? Or maybe a toggle on/off like you have for the face-off now?
Keep up the amazing work, can't wait for the Combs version!

I just finished a game last night at an office party. Everyone loved it. I do have a couple suggestions to help improve it
First thing, when you zoom in to reveal the answers that were missed, it seemed to zoom to the wrong side. Is there a way to pan around?
Secondly, if you press the wrong key during the gaem, you can be in big trouble. An undo process would be great, or possiblly a way you could key in the corrected scores before going to the next round

I'm glad your office enjoyed playing the game!
Dheier66, when the remaining answers are revealed, it's set to automatically zoom in to the answers that haven't been shown yet. If it seems to zoom over to show answers 7-12, it's because answers 1-6 have already been revealed and will therefor not be shown. This is how they did it on the show so I stuck with it.
You can change the scores manually if you screw up and hit a wrong button. After the answers are revealed and the board is awaiting the next question, you can actually place your cursor on the scores and change their values. It's an undocumented feature. Shame on me.

Hello Todd, Thanks for the terrific software. I am having fun just getting ready to play the game
two thoughts (and I think I put this down in the wrong forum section earlier) that are not related directly to the original game.
One suggestion I would have, as we are looking at doign this with a group that will have 4 -6 'families' competing. If it is not too difficult could an option to skip the fast money section be placed either in the first screen options, or after the one family wins? That way in the instance I describe, we hcan save the fast money section for the grand 'feud off' between the top two teams. :-)
One other would be having the name of the family/team above the point display?
Not a biggie, just some thoughts not directly related to the game show. Thanks for the terrific software. Ray

I have a suggestion for the next version of the Feud software. You see, my school is holding a "Class Feud" tommorow. It's like Family Feud, but the rules are like Louie's version. Only the team with the most points at the end of 5 rounds would win. Unfortunately, this program does not have that function, but we'll work around it.

Your school should adjust its game to this version

Your school should adjust its game to this version Yeah, I hate to say it but I'm simply not going to include rules that weren't in the 76 or 88 versions of the Feud for my respective programs. Really, even for time's sake, I don't see why you'd want to play the game that way anyway.

Yeah. The people on Student Council wanted it that way. Me and my partner for this TRIED SO HARD to get it changed, but we HAD to deal with a really pompous, old, angry teacher that couldn't be swayed. Luckily, the last two games ended up being really close, and it came down to the wire. The event went absolutely excellent. Program never failed, and everyone was REALLY impressed with it. I was already asked to do it again next year.
