Once, I get my laptop from my college that I going to then I will start making my own game shows and I'm taking computer programming in college so it will help me out with making them and what Todd told me. The first three game shows I'm making are Wipeout, Lingo and Scrabble. I will also be making a website like Todd but hadn't started yet on the website but I will start once I get my laptop. I'm not competing with Tood I'm doing it as a hobby of mines.

BTW I can't wait to see Wipeout and scrabble. I'm huge a huge fan of those shows.

I don't guess I really thing anything about it; no one has to seek approval from me to program game shows. If you do it, great. That's just more game show software out there that wouldn't be available if someone hadn't spent the time and effort to program it.

The way you phrase your question ( in my own opinion) your making it sound like Todd SHOULD be threaten by the fact someone else is making gamshow software. So far I havent found any other program as detailed as Todds, so if you think you have it in you to do the same then more power to you.

If you want to know how I feel about it in more specific terms, I don't mind talking more about it.
I make these little programs because I love game shows and have fun (most of the time) making the software. No one pays me a red cent for doing what I do and that's mostly because I don't want any payment. It's a gift I give to the GS community because even if "game control" software for the shows we love are available, they're sub-par to my software (sorry to be blunt) and they are costly.
Having said all of that, there's no reason for me to compete with anyone creating game show software. There's no grand prize for any of the work I do and there's no number one spot to claim. There's just me, you, some software, a computer, and a shared love for game shows.
Furthermore, someone out there **cough coughfeudfan cough** may think my software is the worst thing in the planet and may want to create their own versions of my software. That's fine, also. In fact, what a positive thing that would be for the GS community if they had multiple choices of software downloads for each show.
Now would there be a sense of friendly competition? Yeah, of course! But we do that with everything including video games, basketball, bowling, etc. My hope would be that everyone involved plays nice and shakes hands at the end of the evening.
As usual, I've wrote another wordy essay to explain my feelings. Sorry to bore you guys.
