Just a quick, inconsequential question here. . . Will the digital "FAMILY FEUD" logo match the one on the Combs version (there are differences) or will it be the same one as in version 3.2? Also, I'm curious as to if when the logo clears from filled to unfilled in the intro, ending and Fast Money, if it will move FASTER than in Dawson's version? (On Combs, they animated the board three squares at a time as opposed to Dawson's 1 by 1.) Just wondering. Keep up the good work! You've piqued my interest!

Kyle,
Excellent question. The FAMILY FEUD logo on the digital board will be changed to match the updates made in 1988. In fact, all the sounds, music, and graphics will be changed to reflect the 1988/1992 set update.
Right now, the board changes to the next character in sequence every 2 frames of animation. To accomidate the faster computer used to control the board in 1988, I will probably have two characters change in sequence for every single frame. This may or may not work but I will tweak the animation until it looks as good as it possibly can in Flash.
Also, are you sure the digital board in 1988 updates 3 characters per sequence or is that just a guess?

With the new version, I'm guessing we'll be seeing a close-up of the family podiums with the scores on them. If this is what you think you might do, it would be nice if we could enter a team name so that it will appear on their side of the set. Just an idea

I know for a fact it goes by three squares. When I tried to make a GIF of the Combs board, I remember I had to pause by VCR and go frame by frame and the squares definately went by three at a time. There are just enough squares in a row that makes going by three end equally.

Do you have GIF of the board or have you not finished it yet? If you have I would like to see it. Thanks. ;D
