Just out curiousity, has anybody here tried the Richard Karn Feud DVD? It looks like a cross between PC game and presentation software. How does it work, and is it any good?

Ok, I bought it and played it. It's actually very good.
There are 6 rounds total. Team A gets a question first and you write down 5 answers to the survey on this card. After 30 seconds is up it shows the top 5 answers, matching answers give points. Get all 5 answers right and earn 100 more. Then team B goes. That goes for rounds 1, 3, and 5
Rounds 2 and 4 are team playoff rounds where both teams answer the same question at the same time.
Then round 6 is fast money, choose your best person. Then they only show the number one answer for each question. Then you add up all of your points from all of the rounds and see who won.

I tend to agree. Which is why I didn't buy it.

Well my family had fun playing it. It's definately different, but it's a new type of game so there's bound to be flaws.

i have it. the funny thing is i bought it long before the commercial for it. bought my copy at K-mart for $19.99. I dont like it.
My reasons: 1) Format totally reeks
2) Constantly using the Fast Money Blip Sfx (ya know that sound effect to reveal the players answer before the points) instead of the panel "clang" Sfx (CHEAP!)
3) Karn is only telling the rules of the game while Richarson (or someone else) is only reading the surveys.
The only thing that is good is that they used the '88 theme remix form season 3.

See Karn and Richardson not talking that much is a plus for me. I don't think they're cut out for hosting/announcing. I do agree that the format takes time to get used to but if you focus on the game it's not so bad.

Let me see if I understand this.
They ask you a question. You write down possible survey answers. After 30 seconds, they reveal the answers.
Correct?

Yes, you have 30 seconds to write down 5 answers that you think will match the survey.
