Saturday when we were playing the feud, and i was host, at the faceoff podium the players have to put their hands flat on the podium, then ringin. but during the 3rd faceoff, one of the players had his hand on the buzzer already, putting the other player at a disadvantage. his side lit up, and he said an answer, but i caught it, and told him no, and read the question over then they were allowed to ring in. what would you have done?

THATS ONE OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT BEFORE YOU READ THE QUESTION. BUT IF THE GAME WAS BEING PLAYED JUST FOR FUN YOU COULD OF LET IT GO OR THE FAIR THING TO DO WOULD BE LOAD UP A NEW QUESTION.

OHHHHHHHH ok so if that was the case you would of needed to stop reading the question and let the contestant answer with just the information you have read with out finishing the question. It would of been like on the show if a person rang in before the question was finished. They would need to give an answer to the question that was read up until the point the buzzer was hit. :-)

I just need to clarify that for the person who buzzed in, you stop reading and let them answer. After that person answers, you finish the question. If you owned the SNES or Genesis version of the Feud, you'd see that it was handled like that as well. Just thought I'd clarify the situation!

You don't have to ask for an answer until they ring in, but if they put their hand on the buzzer, you should stop reading the question and remind them to put their hand back where it belongs.
For comic relief, you can gently slap the person's hand, which Dawson did at least once.
