I notice, that the winner take all tourneys on the syndie run were always best 2 of 3 games for all 4 families involved. I know that the CBS run when they did it had 1 game only for each part of the tourney. Did they ever use the 2 of 3 format for the CBS version? If so, when did they stop doing so?

After the syndie tournement is over, then we'll figure out how it was played. As for the CBS tournement... Day 1. Two families competed. The family that won the game played fast money to add $5,000 more to the jackpot and to play on day 3. Day 2. Two different families competed. The family that won the game played fast money to add $5,000 more to the jackpot and to play on day 3. Day 3. The winning families of days 1 and 2 competed in a slightly tweaked version of Feud. No fast money would be played, the first family to 400 (or was it 500) points won the jackpot.

The way the syndie tourneys worked from how I understand it was, there were 4 families involved, and 2 of the families played against each other in a best 2 out of 3 games format. The winner of each game played Fast Money which if won added $10,000 to a jackpot starting at $50,000. Once the first finalist is determined the other two teams, played in the same format. The finals I think worked the same way except I believe each game went to 400. BTW, the CBS tournament finals always went to 400.

4 singles, and then triple to the end.
