It's seems when we play the Feud, i have people that love to argue w/ me on certain decisions with me being the judge and board operator...what do you do if someone complains about your decision on something??(ex: you awarding answers to one team but the other team argues about what was said and when was on the panel that was reveal.)

This happens to me all the time when I'm playing this with my family. The first thing of course is be calm then you give as detailed of an explanation as possible to the family who has disputed the decision.
I'll use adamjk's post as an example but I'll modify for this example. Let's say the question was "Name a way that an overweight person tries to make himself look thinner." and there were 4 answers on the board with 3 revealed. The last correct answer is coat/ wear a coat. You go to the next family member and they say "wear loose clothing." and you give them a strike which they will later dispute. When they do you simply say "Loose clothing is a vague term that includes something like sweats and a coat is a specific article of clothing."
Also at the start of the game you can always say "since I'm host and judge all of my decisions are final" and make everybody agree to it. This usually shuts my family up.

ill tell you the question though- "Name something specific you don’t like family members borrowing from you." the person said a blanket....now im being a lil technical on this but clothing was the number 2 answer.....cause a blanket could be used as clothing......it's very rough..but as soon as a reavealed number 2 and awared points the other team was like "no,no, no...blanket is not clothing...i told them what i thought....but how do i know that blankets werent said in the survey, and then when they were printed out it was grouped other clothing or something like that? what think should i have given them credit or not....if i wouldnt have, the other team would have complained....

By definition of the word "clothing", a blanket is acceptible. Clothing is "a garment or covering in general." A blanket is a cloth covering, and therefore clothing.

I thought a blanket was a covering used in bed? The only time a blanket is considered clothing is when your mother walks in on you having sex with your girlfriend and you run out of the room covering yourself with a blanket and explaining to your mother what was going on! (A relatively common senario on TV shows.)

I've only ruled over one game before and I had a guy argue with me that a lawn mower is considered to be a tool. Sorry, I just couldn't buy that one.
This probably isn't the right thing to do, but sometimes I'll take a survey used on the show, review the answers, and make the answers more inclusive if and only if it fits within the context of the question. I'm sure they did this on the show as not everyone will use the exact same word to describe their answer. You be the judge on whether or not it's right or wrong. One thing's for sure, it'll clear up a lot of potential problems at the end.
A general rule of thumb I follow is if someone gives an answer and you're not quite sure if it matches an answer on the board, 9 times out of 10 you shouldn't give it to them. Also, be sure to familiarize yourself with the questions and answers before the game starts. That way, you're more ready to make split-second decisions that could cost a team the whole game.
As said before, your ruling is final. If there is an argument about your ruling, there is nothing wrong with reminding a player or team that you are the judge and your ruling is final. You don't have to be nasty about it. Sometimes players need to be reminded that they're not in control of the game; YOU ARE!! And most of the time players are going to argue for their own team and that bias will shine through.
Just a few tips from someone who's been there.

Give me an example of bad judgement calls from the show (any version) that you remember or have the most beef with.
Here's mine... On Combs' Feud, the question had to do with finding a good hotel to stay in. The contestant said,
"Amenities." There was a long pause before the panel flipped revealing, "Activities" slash something else. In reality, hotel amenities are mints on pillows, slippers, plastic cups with the hotel logo on it, etc.

well its still considered clothing though..even in the dictonary... Well think of it this way; If you see someone in the supermarket ONLY wearing a blanked you would think they are nuts and the police will have them arrested. I dont think I would of made that call saying a blanket is like loss clothing. I think if i was on the other team I would of disputed it as well.

Yes it IS a piece of woven fabric used for covering... but ONLY in BED!!! By definition of the word "clothing," that's enough.

By definition of the word "clothing," that's enough. Apparently you didn't read the last four words on my post.

If you are planning to be the judge in a Feud game, hear me out.
I want you all to buy the "Microsoft ENCARTA COLLEGE THESAURUS". This book won't just show you synonyms and antonyms, it will have dozens of "Compare and Contrast" boxes that show how the words differ from each other. It will also have panels listing words that are not alternative but "TYPES OF" the same thing.
