I think what this all boils down to is the responsibilities of the players and the judge. The judge has the responsibility of being fair and making good judgement calls. The players have the responsibility to respect those calls or simply not play.
If you are a judge who has been argued at over a judgement call, understand that those people are being poor sports. Come on, we're not playing for money here! Most people who are playing for fun won't complain unless you just totally miss the mark.
