I don't know if anyone else found this call questionable, but on one of the syndie shows aired, there was a call on the last question, that I think shouldn't have been made, and it cost the other family the game as a result. Here's the situation:
The Evans family (I think) were leading some other family 200 or something to 0. The question was: Name a way that an overweight person tries to make himself look thinner. There was one answer left, and the Evans had two strikes on them. The answer hide behind a coat, or wear a coat was given. Now mind you this was for the game. The Evans were given credit for the last answer which was, wear loose clothing or something to that effect, and thereby won the game.
How can hide behind or wear a coat mean the same as wear loose clothing? Doesn't make any sense to me. I think the other family should have been brought back due to this. Maybe they were, I don't know. But Richard made no mention of a mistake or anything after the fact. What do you guys think about this? Should the answer have been allowed or not?
