I didnt like him in the return of 94. Couldnt hear him well and he just didnt have the same way of hosting as he once did in the oringal feud. I wish they never fired Ray. He was the best host and he might still be alive today if they didnt let him go.

I think it came off as very half-assed.
First off I was completly suprised that they brought back Richard Dawson back at all. Don't get me wrong, I loved him during the 70's and early 80's version of the Feud but toward the end of the run his ego was so big that it barely fit into the studio. In matter of fact after that he was blacklisted from hollywood for a while. Also when he came back in the '90s Family Feud his style of hosting was getting dull. I'm not saying he was horrible mind you but alot of people like me thought combs was a much better host.
I think the thing that bugged me the most was the superimposed graphic that they used on the board. It was a major distraction to me. When I saw it everytime I thought "You couldn't afford a big monitor to put up there."
Also the set could have looked alot better. I thought it looked a little barren. Then the caricatures that they had in the begging of the show was cheesy and came off as looking cheap. Then the theme music was very dated sounding.
Also the jackpot questions (I think that is what is was called) was basically the Bullseye round and I thought that the Bullseye round was more effective than what they had in the '94 version.

It was called the bankroll round actually.
As for my thoughts, I've said it before, and I'll say it again this version has always been underrated to me. I actually liked the music. Plus, they brought back families from the original version which I thought was nice. Richard wasn't that bad either, and I could hear him fine.
The only thing I didn't like, was having 4 family members per family. Other then that, I liked it.

I think I only saw one episode of Family Feud 1994 and I was 5 going on 6 when I saw it, but now its all a blur on my point of view but I do remember this when I saw this version of the Feud I never knew who Richard Dawson was until I was 11 years old when I saw a classic Dawson episode at my grandmas but I do remember seeing my first Richard Dawson episode on his first series and it was during an episode of Mama's Family and thats all I can remember

The only time I saw Feud '94 was on Halloween. Since that was the only episode I saw, I can only give an "unofficial" vote of "YES". Compared to Combs, Dawson stinks. Compared to Feud '76, Dawson shines!
