No, this game works with the classic rules only.

Do you really like that format. I hated it when I saw they changed it. So glad they went back but still dont like the sudden death thing. Rather it be set to like 300 points to win.

I disliked the "Anderson rules" so much that I made sure I didn't add that option in my software. Sounds terrible but it's just not the Family Feud I grew up with, aside from the fact that it's terribly unfair.
I'm not a big fan of the sudden death round myself but it's a great compromise.

I didn't care for it much either; the decision to change it back to the original rules (or at least close to them, the change being the 2nd+ triple rounds having only one answer) was definitely for the better. In most cases, especially when it comes to classic shows, doing an overhaul of the rules is not a good thing unless it fixes a significant problem with the original rules.

Also, the SSST format really sucked for the simple fact that either there will be enough points to win the game or there won't, not a question of if the team will go over a certain limit or not. It makes either the single rounds or the triple round completely useless, especially when the team that was trying to come back from zero didn't have enough points on the board to win. Yet Richard Karn (in his first season) didn't even bother to look at the scores before he went to the other family for the steal.
It just bothered me to no end how that format lasted for as long as it did. The only reason I could come up with was that it was Freemangle's (Fremantle) pea-brained producers.

The only reason I could come up with was that it was Freemangle's (Fremantle) pea-brained producers. Yup!! Ever since they took over the show it really hasn't been the same old feud. Between the set change, musice change, and format change there really isnt the same quality show it used to be.

Well, there is a way to play the SSST format, but only if a team steals, they get no extra points. Just set up a game that equals 300 points.

Yeah I agree. It just goes to show you that if ain't broke, don't fix it. Also I felt that the SSST format just draged on and on. It wasn't the fast paced action like the one Combs hosted.
Also I agree with Todd. It is a very unfair format. Your family could be leading 250 to 0 in last round and still lose the game. It basicaly means all the rounds you played before meant absolutly nothing. What a waste.
