I have an Gateway G6-350 that i bought many years ago. It is still in good condition. The only problem is that the processor is a PII350 and it is a slot 1/w100mhz FSB. I wanted to know if i could buy a PIII slot 1 with a 500mhz processor and 133mhz FSB?

no you cant use the 133mhz fsb, but they do have(on ebay or somewhere, ebay i know they do) 100mhz fsb 500mhz processors........you can go up to 700mhz if you wanted (make sure its the 100mhz fsb type) (and also just for the record this isnt a computer help forum  ...although this is the General Forum  |

Yes that did! Thank you every much. Now i'm just scared to death to order anything off Ebay. I've been hearing some fishy things about people selling things that isent thiers and not sending confirmation numbers and other things. (PS. I wasent trying to be a snob eariler either.)
