Has anyone noticed, that quite often on Karn Feud, when Richard meets the returning champs he doesn't say how much they have won? I find that a bit aggravating. What if you miss a show or two somewhere, the next time you watch you have no idea how much the current champs have. Now, don't get me wrong I think Richard is doing quite well with the Feud, and is making it his own. But this is one thing that most definitely needs improvement.

He won't say how much they've won if they have won less than $20,000. If they have won Fast Money at least once, he will say how much they've won. For him to say "here's our champions, returning with $450, the Smith family!" would sound silly (which again brings up the point of ridiculously low prize money if the family doesn't win Fast Money).

That never stopped Combs or Dawson from doing it, when their games were played for points.

It must not sound that silly, if Dawson and Combs would say the totals, even if they hadn't won the big money yet.

Well, regardless of whether they said it or not, I still think it should be at least $10 a point for losing Fast Money. Contestants get LESS money now, dollar for dollar, than they did in 1976, and inflation has made it almost a joke. For Richard to announce that a family has won a few hundred dollars and to have the entire audience applaud and cheer would be ridiculous.

I personally can't stand Karn... every time he says something "funny" (at least in his own eyes), I just feel...

Dawson always said how much the champs had won previously. Combs seems to say it every now and then. Normally if a family won fast money, he'd say their total and occasionally, he'd mention it even if they lost FM. Karn never mentions how much they won unless they had previously won the $20,000. Anderson never mentioned a total because...well, everyone here should know why already.

Did he ever say how much the families in the tourney of champs had won on their other appearance?

Combs? Yes, he did.
It seemed once they started the winner take all tournaments, Ray was better about mentioning the families totals when he reminded the viewers when the next tournament would be.

No, no I meant Anderson. Hence the reason I said appearance, not appearances.

BTW, since I brought up the Anderson Feud TOC, I was wondering, how did they determine who got in?
