Coming this April, GSN is dumping ALL original shows (except LINGO) and bringing back G-T classics and then some! ;D

Finally.......They are bringing back the Bill Raferty version of Card Sharks. Most people I know hated that version but I loved it. I wonder if they'll show the Raferty version of Blockbusters?
I also hope they bring back all of those obscure game shows that they used to show late at night like chain reaction, trivia trap, bullseye, treasure hunt, hot potato, etc.
For a while there I thought they would stop showing the classics all together and line-up all of there programing to be all reality shows. I guess I'll be watching GSN all through April.........Now if they would only show Sale of the Century and Scrabble that would make the april line-up perfect.

I think GSN needs to talk to Reg Grundy or whomever it may concern about aquiring the rights to Grundy's shows. I've heard that the cost to get these shows would be pricey, so hear is the deal to GSN... buy the shows and we will by two of everything that is advertized.

The USA network when they used to show game shows all the time had both of those shows on for years. In matter of fact Scrabble was on the USA network from '91 'till '95 and Sale of the Century was on '92 'till '94. I think if USA network could afford to run those shows so can GSN. I think those of us who love those shows should start a writing to GSN and keep bugging them until they bring it back.

I don't see why it would be expensive. That's just what I saw on the internet, I don't know if it's true or not? How do we get a letter to GSN?

I got a very quick response.
Here's what they said,
"Thanks for your interest in our shows and suggestions. Viewer feedback is always appreciated and we will take it into consideration."
I'm convienced that if enough of us write in that they will bring it back.

"Thanks for your interest in our shows and suggestions. Viewer feedback is always appreciated and we will take it into consideration." I doubt that it's a real reply. Many times, a company makes an auto-reply to let you know they got the e-mail. It's just to appease people just in case they don't get a real reply.

I got an auto-reply when they recieved my message. In it they claim that all of there responses are handled by real people. So as far as I'm concerned it's authentic. I doubt that it's a real reply. I was skeptical of GSN ever showing any Raferty show. Not only did GSN bring back Raferty's CARD SHARKS, they also brought back Raferty's BLOCKBUSTERS!! My college classes prevent me from seeing the show, but I did tape TTTT, Family Feud and the first minute of Blockbusters assuming it was the Cullen version. Boy was I suprized! Tomorrow I'll be sure to catch the entire half-hour. P.S. The 9amCST FEUD is the Dawson syndie from the early eighties.
