Does anyone happen to know how those trilons worked? I wouldn't think they were turned by hand.

I think I remember hearing that two people operated the Winner's Circle Pyramid trilons...Yes, turned by hand. If you take a look at the William Shatner clip of him playing the Bonus Round solo, you can see all the trilons wiggling and spinning around near the end of the vid...Which means someone must have been spinning them around.
As far as the main game pyramid, I think just one person operated that. Sometimes you could see the guys hand flipping it around.

Not to "Me Too" this thread
But I've seen on some Pyramids where the Trilons sway slightly after someone wins the big money.
so I doubt a machine would do that .
Another example when someone gives an error clue, the Trilon abruptly spins to the Pyramid logo , somthing that is easly done by hand.
But that's just my honest opinion

Having the board run by machine is just a bad idea all around. When up to $100,000 is on the line, you don't want the round to be botched because the motors won't turn.
