Karn Feud 1st Season question

I was just wondering, when Karn Family Feud had the Men and Women Champions On Ice week in his first season, did the players play for themselves or for charity? Game Show Favorites, doesn't mention anything about charities, but I can't imagine them playing for themselves. Anyone know?

Yes, they played for charities. I remember them talking about the charity they were going to donate their winnings to at the beginning of the show.
