Trust me when I say this but it's not even worth it. It's so bad I don't even know where to begin.
For one thing they don't use any of the original music. It's this cheesy bad '70s disco crap. Then the V.O. is cheesy as well. Also the questions repeat over and over. Etc., etc., etc.
Honestly I could on all day on how it's so bad but I won't bore everybody.
Todd's presentation software version of Pyramid stomps the crap out of this pile.

I don't just have a link, I HAVE the CD-ROM game, and I like it! The theme is actually a good theme in itself. The escalating jackpots adds suspense, (I've gotten to 50k). Comparing the CD to Todd's, Todd's game makes an effort to duplicate the looks of the mid-'80s set on the tv set at home, while the CD has more vivid set colors and better game playability.

I have the Cd-rom game too and they were both bad.
One of the important things I forgot to touch on was the questions repeat after playing a couple of hours. Also the pay structure is not anywhere close to what it was like in the show. In the Winner's Circle for the first win it was $5,000, second was $10,000, third was $25,000, fourth was $50,000 and the fifth was a $100,000. If you are looking for a authentic Pyramid experience you won't find it here.

I also have this CD-ROM. The following I found to be true: - The theme is a discoey version of the original theme (although it tries its darndest to sound like the original without having to pay royalties!)
- The "celebrities" are cartoon caricatured parodies of real-life then-celebrities, with voice actors giving voice-over clues
- The Winners Circle prize structure doesn't conform exactly to the original show
- Questions repeat themselves if played over and over
- Answers are sometimes hard to get right if you don't type in the exact word/phrase
- However, you don't have to press "enter" after each answer you type to move to the next clue
- The set design is *very* close to the original show, as are a lot of the sound effects
- The game plays annoying Muzac during the game (which I think you can disable)
All said, I like this version of Pyramid *much* more than the cruddy '80s DOS version. Although Todd's software is truer to the show, it's still not an interactive game, esp. for one player. mwolchock, I think the demo is long gone from the Internet, but I recommend it to any Pyramid fan if it can be found for less than $20 (before shipping!).
