In addition to the available options in the original Family Feud Presentation software, I'm planning on making the Bullseye game an option. What other useful options do you think should be added to this updated software package?

I think you should make an option to play just the 2nd half of the Challenge like they did in '93 or '94.

There should be an option to choose whether or not a steal adds the value of the stolen answer to the bank (which was added in 1992, with Bullseye).
Also (and I don't know how you'll implement this), there ought to be an option to choose between the 3-digit bank display, and the 4-digit bank display (which, again, was added in 1992).

My idea was to have 3 game options:
-Bullseye Off -Bullseye Game 1 -Bullseye Game 2
Bullseye Off would turn off Bullseye, freeze the bank on the third strike, and possibly switch the board to a 3-digit display. The 3-digit board isn't a planned feature.
Bullseye Game 1 would turn on Bullseye, keep the bank alive for the stealing team and start families at $2,500 each with Bullseye value starting at $500. This would function as the first half of Family Feud Challenge.
Bullseye Game 2 would turn on Bullseye, keep the bank alive for the stealing team and start families at $5,000 each with Bullseye value starting at $1,000. This would function as the second half of Family Feud Challenge and the New Family Feud.
Other than the fact I may have not remember the correct dollar values listed above, are there any other rules I'm not taking into consideration? I must watch my tape again from John.

There is really no point in putting in the the 3 digit display as an option. I mean what's the difference. It's just more work for Todd. Just my thought.

I won't rule out going back at some point and adding a three digit bank to the board. If there's any justification to leaving it at 4 digits, they added this digit before they converted over to Family Feud Challenge.

Is it possible for an option to get rid of the Fast Money pot display on the family podiums?

Todd, First of all thank you for a terrific software package. It is fun just getting ready to play the game.
two suggestions I have are not from the game, but how I am using it, so I don't know if others would find it helpful or not.
One option is to not have the fast money game at the end- or a way to skip it. I am currently settin gup where we will have 4 or 5 'families' facing off, and it would be helpful if we did not have the fast money game until the end of the grand feud off. :-)
the second would be to have a section above each score section to put in the name of the two families/teams.
Again, no big deal. It is a terrific program, and I also would be willing to pay a shareware or donation ware fee for using it. It is what our group will have a lot of fun using! Thanks again. Ray

Ray Ray, Thanks a lot for your comments. I'm glad you enjoy the FF Presentation software so much. If you're not going to play Fast Money, just have the board turn after the last round over to the Family Feud logo side and let the music run. When you're finished, close the program. About having the family names over the scores, sorry but no. I don't like adding things that you wouldn't see on the television show. May I suggest creating banners for the two teams on each side? I hope your game goes well. Best wishes!

Todd, Thanks for the banner suggestion. I think that will work great!
One other thought I had as I am getting several games ready. And again, I don't know how difficult this is, but in the options/startup screen, a place where an explorer like window could select the folder where to take the questions from?
Right now, I have a copy of the executable in 4 different folders with the different questions.
Or am I missing something obvious? I see the New file/open file on the drop down, but it is always greyed out and I can not try to locate a different folder with questions.
Thanks again. Ray

These are awesome ideas, but maybe there should be a fourth option to play the entire FFC (both bullseyes), this way, winnings would be carried over.

You could play Bullseye Game 1 and then Bullseye Game 2. I suppose the only problem would be when the winning total is displayed. It wouldn't be the right number. Hmmm....
