why cant we do a make a name option that means we can put our own name of the game show as we please im not saying you can do that right now just when you get the chance to update the "Challenge" software

why cant we do a make a name option that means we can put our own name of the game show as we please im not saying you can do that right now just when you get the chance to update the "Challenge" software In case you were unable to read the FAQ before Todd moved everything, changing the name of the game would also require changing all of the individual frames that make up the title sequence and, therefore, delay all of his projects by a good while. It's not like he doesn't want to accommodate everyone, it's just that he really doesn't have the time to do that. Besides, "Church Feud" doesn't exactly have as good a ring to it.  |

Grey is right. Also, on the main page (www.katymae.com/index.html) it's listed in the news section on the bottom. Check it out for more details.
Basically what takes so long is each small character (cell) on the board is a character in a special font set I created. To allow a user to simply type up what they want to see displayed on the board would require complex algorithms to both arrange the characters on the board and animate them; not all characters are the same width, etc. I also could create boards for each request but not only would that be time consuming, I'd have to send out a different program for each request. It's hellish torture just uploading the updates to the web site on dial-up.
It's way too much work for not enough effect. Besides, half the requests I have won't fit in the board anyway.
