Maybe I'm not the only one, but I've noticed it seems impossible to get at least 2 other people together to play this. Specifically, I only know 1 person who's ever wanted to play this anytime in the last few months.
I've found a bit of a solution to this, though, that makes the game playable with only one other person, even if not necessarily as much fun as with a group--you can't always be choosy, though.
I essentially play the role of both the host and a glorified computer player.
First, I always give the other person the shot at answering every question first. If their answer is not #1, I roll a dice. The number I roll corresponds to my guess on the board. If I roll a 1, then I'd reveal the #1 answer, and take control.
When I'm playing, I just keep rolling the dice. If I roll a number 1-5, I get that answer up on the board. If I roll a 6, I reveal the lowest-value answer, assuming it's at 6 or below. If I roll a number that's more than the number of answers on the board, like if I were to roll a 6 on a question with only 5 answers, that's a strike. If I roll a number for which that answer has already been revealed, that also counts as a strike on my part. The exception is 6, in which I'll reveal the bottom answer that's at 6 or below, assuming there is at least one that has not yet been revealed: otherwise, I get a strike. Same rules apply when I attempt a steal.
Should I win the game, I just don't do Fast Money. That doesn't happen too often, though: I've intentionally minded this to give the other player the advantage, while still giving her a bit of competition.
I don't know how many of you are unfortunate enough to only get to play this great program with only one other person, but if you're in the same boat, this ain't too bad a solution !
