Okay guys, I got an e-mail with an attached picture that feudfan drew up in Microsoft Paint. Here's a side-by-side comparison for your viewing pleasure:  I don't know, guys. I think I may have met my match with this one. Wow. |

I just wish there was a laughing smileys so I'll just use this ;D. Wow, talk about rank amature. I shouldn't talk but at least if I were to make a picture it would have so much more detail. It looks like that the picture on the right ;D was done in about 5 minutes. Also the picture on the right looks like it only has 4 colors which might be appropirate if I were making a game for the original Nintendo Enterainment System or Game Boy Color. Also the original Family Feud for the NES has 8 colors on screen if I remember correctly which is 4 more than the pic on the right. I'm sorry if I made that picture then said all of the things that were posted I'd be completly embaressed.

Yeah Todd, I'd stop calling yourself a designer if I were you. I mean he's clearly got you beat.  You know, feudfan, I hate to say this but all the razzing you're going to get, you deserve. You can't come here and say all the stuff you did then send this drawing which is clearly worse than Todd's. Now I, like WesternEstates, am not an artist but I never claimed to be either. So Todd can go on now knowing that you don't follow your own complaints so not to worry about you. Have a nice day. |

BTW, I am going to try and "recreate" your pic on microsoft paint. I will send it to you when I am done. This is just something for fun of course. I wanna see how mine will measure up to yours so to speak.

You really should be ashamed of yourself for the things you said and CLAIM to be an expert. The only tips Todd should take from you is HOW NOT TO DO IT.
I do have to give you credit when credit is due "FEUDFAN" you really have to have big B@#Ls to talk the way you did and STILL send in that pic that looks like my 2 year old nephew drew.

Ok, I am having a bit of trouble doing the colors. Every time I try to paint, the entire screen fills with the color chosen. How do I fix this?

It has to be said that I generally don't approve of using the message forum to put anyone else down in front of all our viewers. I think I let the floodgates open up because of several reasons. One, you're downloading something that costs me hard-earned money to provide and distribute. Two, you're publicly blasting me without any ammunition. Three, you're just being plum arrogant and there's no room for that here.
It should be noted that feudfan couldn't even provide his own place on the internet to host the comparison picture I posted. His picture is being stored on my server, which costs me money to operate. Also, I have no idea who Randall Simonson is but that's where the e-mail came from with the podium pictures attached. He was just as arrogant, saying, "what's YOUR opinion of the pics?"
Feudfan failed to send pictures of the game board but after we've seen the above example, we pretty much know how that comparison is going to come out. Feudfan also fails to understand that creating the pictures for my game is only the beginning of producing a complete game in Flash.
Listen, if you think you can do anything better than I can with this software--I know there are people who are better at graphics, sounds, etc.--just e-mail me and tell me you think you can contribute to my software. I'm not so proud that my software can't have any other contributors. Look at Rob Rosko. He didn't show up and say, "this software is terrible; I can't customize it." Instead, he made my software 100% easier to customize by creating his own helper software.
I'm off my soap box now. Later, guys.

I think I can speak for most of us when I say that 99% of us greatly appreciate this software and what does plus all the hard work and money you put in to it. The problem is you have these turds float up every once in a while who think their crap don't stink. So when something like this does happen they deserve it. Hopefully something like this won't happen again. |

I don't know, guys. I think I may have met my match with this one. Wow. You sound like you're impressed with my picture. MS Paint is the only program I have to make pictures from. I think the reason why many here think the picture is "primitive" is no texture and shadows. This time Todd, show JUST your podium alongside mine, AND with the bars lit. |
