I can't really say I'm working any more with Family Feud right now. I do want to redraw the panels and the grid they lay on, partly because the colors aren't accurate and there's a little too much beveling and embossing on the stips that hold the panel graphics in their place. Every once and a while, I'll sit down at my computer and tweak a little something here and there. Most of my computer time is with Pyramid.
Animating the set is going to be a difficult task, mostly because of the reflection on the floor below. I haven't decided how I'm going to get around that yet. The reflection may just stay static, which I know I'll catch hell for. We'll see as time progresses.

I originally was going to reply with an idea on how to speed up the animation, then reread Todd's last post and realized he was talking about something else. Could you go into specifics about what on the reflections is going to be trouble? Maybe there's a way to make it work with a minimum of headache.

WesternEstates: I have more screenshots on the way. The next screenshot will be of the trilon board used for the main game. It's coming along nicely.
parliboy: I'll try to explain the trouble with the animations. The animating lights in Family Feud are done by drawing several dots with the pantbrush tool in Flash. It works well, I think. But in Family Feud, the floor doesn't reflect anything.
With the $100,000 Pyramid set, when lights animate on the set above, the floor reflects all the action going on. If you'll take a close look at the reflection I've drawn, the texture of the floor makes the reflection ripple a little bit. Making this look convincing is going to be difficult. And trust me, if there was an easy way to do it, I would!
I'm looking into trying out several different things.

Now me, on the other hand... Obviously, the treatise on the FF88 light animation might speak volumes on my part.
