The first graphic I've created for the game is on the web site. I haven't exactly figured out how I'm going to animate the lights yet so this will have to tide you over until I get it straightened out. But, this is it!

Todd:
As usual, excellent work! If the rest of the program looks anything like this screenshot, then we're in for a real treat!
Unfortunately, the font that you are using for the 100K sign on the top of the pyramid doesn't look very good. New Century Schoolbook Bold is a much better choice, as you can see from this modified screenshot that I created in Photoshop:
(image deleted)
If you don't have that font, I can email it to you.

Do you have any projections as to when this is going to be complete?

Thanks for the offer. I'm aware that the font isn't accurate. It was the closest thing I had at the time and was being used as filler. I deleted the modified graphic you posted. I'm not upset about it because you didn't know, but if you're going to modify my hard work and post it on my forum, please ask permission. Thanks. I'm happy everyone like what I've done so far. More work and graphics to come!!

More work and graphics to come!! Ya know what? Based on that single screenshot, I think you, by yourself, can put Sierra's six art designers (who worked on their $100,000 Pyramid project) to shame. One other thing... I'm sure you have the theme by now so you can make samples for the different cues, do you not? If not, I have it.

Screenshot is looking great!
In addition, I'm not sure if Grey is referring to the same thing, but I have the entire close to $25,000 pyramid. Not the crappy version off of the GSN CD, but the entire 3 minute closing with all the sometimes-subtly different parts heard on the show. Email me at halflip87@cox.net if you'd like me to help you out with that, as well as sounds.

It's amazing how you can make something look so much better than a major software company did. That really says something about your talents. You could probably if you wanted to to (That is with permission and licensing) sell this in the big stores and sell it for it for the same price that I bought the crappy one at $20 (.... ouch, that was the price I bought it at when it first came out and if I would've known how bad it was I would have saved my money.)

Know what I can't wait for?
Seeing the dark red set and the chasing lights and the flashing trilons during the intro sequence for the first time I run the program. I'll totally crap myself right then and there, I guarantee it. ;D
