Yep, it's been quiet. Last week I took a few days off from work and took a vacation from everything. After a weekend with the relatives, I celebrated my 24th birthday yesterday. I'm aiming to get back in the saddle again here shortly. There's honestly not that much more major graphic projects to take on so maybe the transition to Flash will happen soon. We'll see. As always, I'll keep you updated.

Heyy Todd, well happy belated 24th b-day. wow! I thought you were older then that, hehehe, just a young one too like me, thats cool. So then I take it you got the lights working in conjuction with the reflection from the floor? Not that it matters. Will there be another screenshot of the set? Well enjoy the rest of your vacation u probably need it and look forward to your games.

Thanks, everyone! Belated birthday wishes are just as appreciated. And with the DVR-RW drive, I'm going to convert all those Feud tapes into DVDs. No animations have been completed yet. That won't happen until I carry things over to Flash.

Happy Birthday, Todd! I so envy you with that DVR drive. Unfortunately, I share the same sentiments with you on the DVD writer. Honestly, I'd rather have an external HD. More expensive initially, but worth it in the long run.

They're nice for backup and portability. I've had some bad experiences with them, though. Be sure if you use one to make sure the power and data connections are tight and secure. If they're not or if you have faulty, insecure connections, RETURN IT!! I did a total backup for a user here before formatting their hard drive. When I was restoring some data, I moved the hard drive to work on something else. In the process, a bad power connection caused the unit to lose power and EVERYTHING on the hard drive was corrupted. Nothing was lost when it was all said and done but it took a while to notice it. ...and it was the company's president's computer.

Needless to say, that really sucked until everything got restored on it. I'll be honest with you, I haven't had a major problem with anything happening with my machines in terms of mechanics go... (*knocks on formica*) ...but that doesn't mean anything other than the fact that I've been extremely lucky so far.
