I'm pleased to announce that the first release candidate for $100,000 Pyramid is nearing completion. I believe the game is functional enough to support playing the game fully from front to back. The manual hasn't been written yet and that's one of the reasons it won't be coming out within the next few days. By Friday, we should see the first release candidate ready for download.
Some things I should note: there WILL be problems and bugs. That's why this won't be considered the first full release. But it's certainly a lot better than not releasing it in any shape or form at all. Check the web site and this forum for updates.

Thank you for all of the hard work that you've been doing on this project. You've done so much for the enjoyment of strangers and I wanted to thank you. I am looking forward to the release candidate as well as everyone else.

Great news. I have everything complete except for the sample text files for the game! I have an episode of Pyramid I'll use for the sample text. I should have this released by Friday.
Today, I ran the game for the first time with the theme song running. Wow, it was really great seeing the game run with the flashing lights and the music playing. ...I can't wait for you guys to see it.

There are some things missing, though; mainly sound effects for certain events and the "1,100" win graphic when someone wins the 7-11 category. Otherwise, I believe pretty much everything is here.
Overall, I believe most everyone will be pleased. Of course, we'll have much more to talk about on Friday.
