You know, it makes sense to have an audible buzzer when some illegal clue is given. And I don't have an episode on tape where someone gave one. So I'll take your word for it. It's not that much work to add, really. Thanks so much for the input.
Don't worry about the passing thing. :-) It's okay.

You know, I honestly think we're just going to have the leave the ampersand out. The Flash movie just doesn't like it. It looks for an ampersand to go to the next variable...I just forgot to replace it with the word "and." Use "%26" (without the quotes). It works! Here's a link to a reference table of all sorts of cool characters: www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/sbcs/1252.htmJoe

Use "%26" (without the quotes). Heck yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about! See, if it weren't for you guys, my software would be crap!

Hiro Nakano is correct about there being a sound when an incorrect clue is given in the winner circle. The sound is indeed the same as the sound made when the clock runs out. I don't have any tapes that verify it, but I do specifically remember that this is the case.

As I recall, the illegal clue sound is more like a short double-buzz (like the FFPS' "try again" sound), but with the actual clock buzzer. Then again, that's what I remember.

Grey, the short double-buzz that you were referring to was used as the WC illegal clue sound during John Davidson's tenure as host in the early 1990's.
