Release # 3 ???

well all I have to say is it looks good, just checking up Todd to see how the progress is going? Looks like there have been alot of ideas and stuff put on the boards here, u must be working overtime with all this? well no rush it already looks great, just checking to see if u might have another release out to see before the weekend? keep up the good work

just checking too what all have u changed or fixed when u do release the next version? if ya wanna wait to answer this when u release it thats cool too just thought I would ask

Actually, I've been laying low with the project this week. I believe the next release will finally give us a game that's fully playable. Yes I know, there are tons of things that need to be tweaked out or otherwise revamped or added. And those things are on my to-do list still. I just want to push a fully playable product out there first and then worry with the other details, like how the lights flash, trilons behave, flashing text displays, etc.

If RC3 is determined to be fully playable, it'll go out as version 1. From there it's just a simple matter of making the changes as said above, kind of like how Family Feud has turned out.

I've spent the last whole week in Los Angeles and didn't get a chance to work on Pyramid any. I did have a great trip and hope to post the pictures of my trip online. I have a couple of shots of me at The Price is Right that you'll have to see.

Here's an update on Release Candidate 3:

One of the biggest problems I have had in working with Pyramid, believe it or not, has been the instances where flashing text must be shown. It seems like my logic and the logic of Flash are in two totally separate worlds. Well, I've finally figured out how to get it to work and that will be one more things added to the next pre-version 1 release.

Some other things have been changed or have been added since release candidate 2. Those details will be made available later as I don't have a complete list with me right now and some other changes may be made from this point on until the next version is made available.

At this time, I don't have a projected release date.

I don't think we're too far off from making this project version 1. In fact, if there are no major problems with release candidate 3, it will recieve a few minor tweaks and be made the official version 1. Then it's on to other projects.
