My name is Randall Simonson, I live 100 miles out in the middle of nowhere here in Minnesota.
I was born in March, 1985. I was definitely too young to remember Dawson, but I do remember watching Combs, however I don't remember him using the cordless mic. (Meaning I watched it sometime between '88-'90). Until four years ago, I never knew of a '94-'95 revival with Dawson. In fact, until four years ago, I never even knew Dawson was EVER a game show host let alone FAMILY FEUD!
The only reason I watched Louie wasn't because he was a fellow Minnesotan, but because it was FAMILY FEUD and I was afraid that if I didn't watch it... FEUD would be cancelled and never brought back. I don't think Karn is a great host, but between Louie Anderson and Richard Karn... Karn is the lesser of two evils.
I hope FAMILY FEUD makes some positive changes, or else Karn too could be canned after three seasons.
