Does anyone know if they have ever done a special "Behind the Scenes" show about the Family Feud? I know E! did a story on Ray Combs, but that focused more on HIM than the show. Just curious. Thanks.

There was also an E! THS on FAMILY FEUD. It first aired in May of '02. It showcases the first 25 years of the feud, the ups and downs. From Dawson's huge ego, Combs' bout w/ depression and eventual suicide and Anderson's sex extortion scandle. It talks about the evolution of 'Feud. Among other highlights, you get to know producer Howard Felscher a bit more and how his final falling out with Dawson in '81 led to his being "barred" from the set for the remainder of the run.

That sounds really interesting. Does anyone have that one tape by chance? I never knew that about Howard. I'm sure it probably goes in depth about Dawsons return after Combs also, right? As for Anderson, I never really liked him as a host, but was always curious what happened to him: Did he get fired? Quit? Ya know what would be really cool to see: Dawson come back. Even if it was just for ONE episode. Thanks for the info.

I've recorded E! THS Family Feud during the THS marathon (you know Gong Show Vs Feud), but i have no way of posting any vid clips for you guys (sorry). As for Anderson he got the Axe (yes he got fired).
