Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the Family Feud Pilot. I know gameshow network showed it on the 25th anniversary but my satellite was out that night. I have only seen one picture from the first show and I know there was a different Big Board. Just wanted to see what other changes where made from the first show. Also looking for pictures of what the board looks like from behind. Always wanted to see that. Thanks to anyone that can help.

GSN has never aired the pilot to Family Feud. They did air the first episode however.

Something very odd about the pilot other than the set was how the numbers looked for the score and bank displays. People seem to go by the "Ferranti76" and "Ferranti78" terminology so I'll use those terms even though the font for this isn't consistent with the show's. They used the Ferranti 78 numbers for the pilot. It was switched for the premire to the Farranti 76.
The heads of the families ALWAYS did the face-off. They didn't go to the next player as we're used to now. When someone revealed an answer during the face-off, the bank didn't automatically add the score. Richard would announce that the points from the answer goes to the bank. The points would then appear in the bank and a "ding" would be heard.
Below the swiveling trilon board, three blocks displayed how many strikes there were. It was hard to see though and probably why it didn't make it to the replacement game board. And speaking of strikes, instead of seeing one, two, or three strikes as we're accustomed to seeing, whenever someone got an answer wrong, one big huge superimposed strike would display instead.
Another funny moment in the pilot was someone sort of broke the face-off buzzer. The yellow cap came off of the top of the buzzer when a person hit it.
I've seen the pilot a few times. It's interesting.
