Last month, after losing the Family Feud Challenge source file to a computer problem, the pace of my game show projects have slowed down to a crawl. In turn, interest has apparently dropped in the same manner. The only new e-mails this week in my inbox has been virus-laced e-mail and posts on this message board have dropped. Viewership has also slowed on the web page.
After the loss of my file last month, my plan was to take a few weeks off as I though of what I would do next. Part of me wanted to quit altogether. A bigger part of me wanted to keep going. So I made a deal with myself after these two weeks to gradually get back into it again. Week after week I have worked more and more in Flash. Most of that work has been with the original Family Feud software.
The original Family Feud will get an update available for download either tomorrow or Saturday. I am excited about this release because it signifies things getting back to normal. But, this exitement only begins with the new release.
After the next Feud release, it's time to attack FF Challenge again. I have a workable file in place that I can build on even if some pieces of it are missing. I think once it's released you'll all love it.
I'm getting the ball rolling again, folks. It's taken me a while but things haven't died to say the least!

Thanks, vegitoth, for the warning all the same.

Yup, the red/orange/yellow buzz-in animation There were two light board animations with the Combs faceoff podiums: one used with the pre-Challenge which just caused a smooth light-up animation (like a family win-type animation) and, IIRC, an animation which was synced with the podium to blink just like it. I just say that because I remember the FFC faceoff podium and I'm watching primetime Combs Feud on GSN now. Don't mind me, I'm sort of a perfectionist for these things.
