I know it's a little early to be talking Match Game when Pyramid hasn't even been started, but I figure I'd get some talk started about it. Mostly what kind of features we'd like to see in it.
I'll start by saying a lot of things, so bear with me:
I'd like to see a switch for the daytime ('7x) and primetime (PM) versions, myself. Differences being how many main game questions and audience match questions there are. The sets were different, but I don't see what's wrong with having just one set for both versions.
Also, I'd like to see the ability to put some custom think cues on there in some fashion. It might not be entirely feasible, considering what Flash can do. I just think it'd be a nice thing to have since there were times when they deviated from the normal think cues.
Finally, I forgot what I was going to ask for the third feature. darnit. I'll remember it eventually.

You do realize that this might not be out until 2005...right?

You do realize that this might not be out until 2005...right? Not necessarily. What I have in mind for Match Game is a relativey simple way to display matching data. It's going to be hard to display the set when you have no one in the set to focus the camera on. Really--hopefully this will be down the road--this isn't something I'll be able to do in a couple of years. So whatever I'm going to do with game shows, I need to do now. When Kathy and I start having Toddlets, my devotion to the game show community won't be nearly as dedicated as it is now. But for now, I'm enjoying the ride and everyone who's riding with me. This is hard work but it's totally fun when the right people hang around you. We'll have to see what kind of deadlines I can meet.

I'm really excited about the $100,000 Pyramid game but I'm equally as excited about Match Game. In matter of fact I've just thought of three good questions while I've been typing to use in the game when it comes out.
1) Did you hear about the new Grand Theft Auto game that's going to come out. It's going to take place in the wild west, instead of carjacking you'll be ______jacking.
2. Bill Cliton is going to be coming out with a new reality show this fall. Ten contestants will compete in The White House and the first contestant to ______ will win a hand shake.
3) Did you hear about Britney Spears new CD. It's so bad.
Audience: "HOW BAD IS IT?!"
It's so bad critics are using it as a _______.
