What kind of 3d software are we talking about here? Is it something you wrote yourself, Joe?

No, the software was an old, old version of 3D Studio.
If you can somehow get your hands on a newer (very expensive) version, lucky you! It's great 3D animation software.

Until Todd makes it officially downloadable from his home page, I posted my Pyramid Clue Editor to my personal home page: home.comcast.net/~jlourenco1/pyramid/Pyramid_Clue_Editor.zipPlease download at your leisure. However... - I'm not sure what Comcast's policy is for downloads, zip files, etc. So if it's not there when you try it, don't be too surprised. - If you have technical questions about the editor, please email me. If you have comments you'd like to share with the forum, I guess it would be OK to post them in this thread. - FYI, the bulk of my home page is my wife's costume design portfolio (we acutally abandoned this website and got a separate web address altogether). If you like costumes, designing, or browsing random websites, have a look! Not as exciting as waiting for Todd's "Pyramid" release, I know, but here it is! Enjoy! Joe

I just emailed you a clue editor for Pyramid. I think it will work well for everyone. Please let me know if you think it's worthy to post on the site. That is some top-notch action, Joe. Thanks for the effort! How hard would it be to modify it such that it could load in a previously-written game set for further editing as well as save one created from scratch? It's not a major necessity, but I remember that would have been nice when I was hosting Feud games.

I hope to learn a bit more about VB coding and release a new-and-improved version that can edit existing files. Maybe I can time it with Todd's RC3 release. Thanks for the thumbs up! Joe

I noticed something while using Joe's clue editor. The bug in the program that only shows the first word in the tie breaker then reverts to the words in the last played categorie does not happen. The words I entered into the editor appear in both tie breaker rounds.
Also, I noticed that in the tie breakers, that the team who forced the tie always won, even if the other team had more points. Just though I should point it out.

Again, thanks for all the great feedback on the editor.
I am *this* close to releasing an updated version to -- get this -- READ existing txt files for editing.
I'll release it as "v2" and make both the old and new versions available for download, in case the new one bites.

OK, the updated version to my clue editor for Todd's magnificent Pyramid software is available for download! home.comcast.net/~jlourenco1/pyramid/Pyramid_Clue_Editor_v2.zipChanges: - Added: "Load Game" button -- loads existing text files from the active folder for editing - Added: "Clear All" button -- wipes the slate clean (with an "Are you sure?" warning before doing so) Hope you like.
