Todd, I just emailed you a clue editor for Pyramid. I think it will work well for everyone. Please let me know if you think it's worthy to post on the site. Here is a screenshot: Hope this helps! Joe

Joe, that looks like it'll save a lot of headaches.
I do have a couple of questions, however. Does it contain the code necessary to translate an ampersand into the %26 discussed earlier? Also, does it translate any other characters into readable code? (e.g. "+" as "%2B" and "=" as "%3D")

Does it contain the code necessary to translate an ampersand into the %26 discussed earlier? Also, does it translate any other characters into readable code? (e.g. "+" as "%2B" and "=" as "%3D") It translates plain text into all uppercase and URL code, so yes. Also, the verson I sent Todd had the categories have a max length of 24 characters as well as the clues. I will resend an updated version to extend the categories to 36 characters. Thanks for all the positive feedback!

hi
I just wanted to know Joe did you make that clue editor by yourself ?
;D

did you make that clue editor by yourself ? Yes, using Visual Basic 6. I *did* have to incorporate some code I found on a free VB code website for the text translation. Other than that, I figured the rest out by myself. I hope that once Todd evaluates the program he'll post it on the website. I currently don't have a site of my own that will allow me to post .zip or .exe files for download (at least I don't *think* I do). We'll wait and see. Joe

As far as I can tell, it works very well! Thank you for contributing to my Pyramid project. I will post this on my website and also include it with the zip file I send out when I distribute a release.
Oh, by the way, I've had over 1,000 total downloads of Pyramid. That includes all three versions I've released, however.

If anyone has troubleshooting questions regarding the editor, please email me. No need to clog up the forum. Joe

I have to send a quick "shout" to Joe. I haven't seen his software yet, but I will say that he's a heck of a nice guy. Taking the time to create this for Todd aside...
Joe, I don't know if you even remember me, but when I was posting my 3D set creations on the old atgs (RIP), you mailed me some software to help me out...completely free of charge...you even paid for the postage!!
I'm sorry to say, I never was able to learn how to use it, but I've recently rekindled my interest in the 3D set creations and the software is still on my computer, so maybe I'll take another stab at it!
I never forgot that kind gesture and I just wanted to say "thanks" again to you! Nice to "run into" you again after all these years! ;D

Joe, I don't know if you even remember me, but when I was posting my 3D set creations on the old atgs (RIP) I definitely remember you, Bryan! In fact, I still have your 3D set directory in my Favorites! I figured the 3D software would have a high learning/patience curve, but I figured, what the heck! I hope to see some new creations from you soon! Thanks for the "shout"! Joe
